Dr. Craig Quirk grew up in Eugene and graduated from Oregon State University in 1990.
He purchased Rose City Veterinary Hospital in the Spring of 1996 and has been busy rejuvenating
the practice ever since. He has two dogs, a Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix named Dakota and a
Border Collie aptly named Chaos.

Dr. Lisa Berger is an associate veterinarian and graduated from Oregon State University in 1989.
She began working at Rose City as a part-time associate in February of 2007 and began working
full time in January of 2008. Dr. Berger enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, running, tennis
and traveling. She shares her home with her two cats Mr. Pickles and Jimmy.

Dr. Jose Martin is an associate veterinarian and began working at Rose City in March of 2008. He graduated
from Kansas State University in 2002. Dr. Martin completed his small animal internship from 2002 – 2003 at
the Manhattan Veterinary Group in New York City. A Portland resident since 2003, his hobbies include working
out, hiking and yoga. Dr. Martin is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Colleen Flaherty is an associate veterinarian and a 2004 graduate of Cornell University.
She is active with the Feral Cat Coalition and with Rural Area Vets. Her hobbies include clyclocross,
telemark skiing, building things, taking road trips and she aspires to learn Spanish. Dr. Flaherty
has two pets: Yonkers, a "guide dog flunky", and Klister the Blister, a barn cat turned couch potato.
