We are fortunate to have a very talented and diverse technical staff. Becky, our Technician Supervisor, along with Kim, Jenn, and Nicole are all Certified Veterinary Technicians. This means they have completed a two year program to learn their animal care skills and/or have passed the national boards. Our technicians are the behind the scenes staff who take care of hospitalized patients, monitor anesthesia and surgery, take x-rays, perform dental cleanings, and take dental x-rays. Our hospital Wellness Advisor, Wendy, is also a CVT as well as the pioneer of our nutrition program and an occasional Exam Room Assistant.
Technician Assistants, Beth and Christa, help make the Technician's job easier by aiding in surgery and dentistry preparations, by holding pets when the technicians draw blood or take x-rays, and by keeping the treatment area clean and ready for the next patients.
Exam Room Assistants are the right hand to our veterinarians during appointments. They bridge the gap between the clients and the doctor once they are in the exam rooms. Brittainy, Krystal, Kristina, and Peter keep the doctors moving between appointments by getting vaccinations, prescriptions and exam rooms ready. Katie is our Exam Room and Pharmacy Supervisor.
Client Care Representatives are more than just receptionists! Though they do take your calls and book your appointments, they are also the ones that answer your questions when you call or come in. They help look out for the special, individualized needs of you and your pets. You can always count on the bright smiling faces of Shanna, the Client Care Supervisor, and the team of Maren, Maya, Zachary, Lauren, and Nicole. They are here to greet you and your pets when you come for a visit.
Kennel Attendants are responsible for the daily care of pets that are boarded here at Rose City. Magdelena, Ryan, and Jordan take special care of your pets while they are in our care.
Our Official Greeter, Maggie, can usually be found in a basket on the front counter waiting for a friendly pat on the head or scratch under the chin. Her old pal, Burnie, helps keep our technicians in line in the back these days, but he'll pop out to say hi now and then too.
